Warm Cheese & Spinach Dip

Ingredients

  • 200g Bulla Cottage Cheese, Onion & Chives
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh baby spinach, washed and roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parmesan, grated
  • 6 basil leaves, washed and roughly chopped
  • pinch of salt & pepper
  • 1 Tbsp wholemeal flour
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 6 baby sweetcorn
  • 8 dutch carrots, peeled
  • 2 large round wholemeal pitas, torn into bite size pieces, drizzled with olive oil & crushed garlic clove, baked until crunchy
to serve
  • Bulla Cottage Cheese, Onion & Chives
  • fresh basil leaves

Cooking Directions

  • Heat small saucepan over a medium heat and add olive oil and garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Over a low heat add baby spinach and basil. Stir regularly for 1 minute.
  • Over a medium heat add Bulla Cottage Cheese Onions & Chives. Stir regularly until melted.
  • Add wholemeal flour and stir until thick.
  • Take saucepan off heat and stir in parmesan cheese until melted.
  • Place dip in a serving bowl, top with a dollop of Bulla Cottage Cheese, Onion & Chives and fresh basil leaves.
  • Serve with toasted garlic pitas and vegetable sticks on the side for dipping.
