Tahini Garlic Dip
Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic, peeled
- 2 Tbsp tahini paste
- 1 Tbsp boiling water
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- pinch ground cumin
- 200mL Bulla Lactose Free Light Sour Cream
- salt & pepper, to season
to serve
- falafels, kofta, crackers or crudités
Tips
- This dip makes a great sauce to drizzle over grilled fish, chicken, steak or vegetables.
- Give the dip a green goddess touch, by blending with fresh parsley or mint.
- If time allows, make this dip in advance and refrigerate to allow flavours to develop.
Cooking Directions
- Finely chop garlic clove. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt, then flatten, mash and scrape the chopped clove to form a paste.
- Place tahini paste, water and garlic paste in a bowl and whisk to form a smooth paste. Whisk in lemon juice and cumin.
- Place Bulla Lactose Free Light Sour Cream in a bowl and gently fold in tahini mixture. Season.
- Serve with falafels, kofta, crackers or crudités.
