Cheesy Crab Omelette
Ingredients
- 8 extra large eggs
- 80mL water
- 40mL vegetable oil
- 2/3 cup Bulla Cottage Cheese, Original
- 1/3 cup crab meat
- 4 spring onions, finely chopped
to serve
- oyster sauce, coriander leaves,
- chillies, optional
Tip
- Substitute Bulla cottage cheese, original with onion & chives for a variation in flavour. Just remove the spring onions from inside the omelette.
Cooking Directions
- Whisk together the eggs and water. Heat 10mL oil in a hot 20cm frying pan.
- Add 1/4 of egg mixture to pan and move around for even coverage. Gently move egg whilst cooking
- with a fork to allow uncooked egg to move underneath. When bottom is golden and cooked and top is still just slightly runny, add 2 tablespoons of Bulla Cottage Cheese, Original along centre. Top with 1 tablespoon of crab meat and sprinkle with a little of the spring onion. Fold one side into centre over filling, then fold other side over the top.
- Gently remove to serving plate, drizzle with oyster sauce, spring onion, coriander and/or chillies (optional). Serve immediately. Repeat process with remaining mixture and ingredients to make 4 omelettes.
